Sienna Gustafson was named the Offensive MVP as La Jolla's field hockey team placed fourth in the competitive Sandy Berger Invitational Sat., Sept. 23.

Midfielder Pixie DeLeon, goalie Kinsley Stephens, and sophomore middie Allison Hawthorne were also named to the All-Tournament team after Coach Amanda Combs Warford led the Vikings to a place in the semifinals before losing to Canyon Hills, the host of the tourney, in the semifinals.

Playing for bronze after the loss to Canyon Hills, La Jolla ended regulation time knotted with Canyon Crest 0-0. They had to go to the shootout round, and lost, ending up fourth overall.
