Coach Tom Atwell's Vikings boys varsity water polo team will play a doubleheader against Damien (LaVerne, greater L.A.) and Le Jardin (Oahu, Hawaii) at Cathedral Catholic Thurs., Sept. 21, as of 2:24 p.m. Sept. 20.
Game times are 3 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
The Athletics office at CCHS--Cindy, the department secretary--delivered that message in a phone call Wednesday afternoon.
The matches had been scheduled months ago for Coggan Pool at La Jolla High. But when remodeling and reconstruction had run behind schedule, a change in location had to be made.
The scheduled home opener against Valhalla Wed., Sept. 20, had already been postponed.
