Incredible skies again graced the football game
at La Jolla.
Falcon John Prior (13) runs the ball for 11 yards
on first-and-10 from the Torrey Pines 13
on TP's third possession of the game. Neither
team scored till the middle of the second quarter.
Vikings are Nico Bardaro (15) and Ryan Kestler (3).
Lefty junior Julian Zavala's field goal attempt
from 41 yards--his first of the season--fell just
short, though it was on target.
LJ QB Hudson Smith's (behind #52) pass to
Hank Hansen (near left) was incomplete, ending
the Vikes' third drive on fourth-and-goal from
the 1 1/2-yard line on seven plays.
Nico Bardaro (15) takes a reception
24 yards to the TP 11-yard line
for a first down. La Jolla failed
to score on this drive, their third
in the first 12 minutes of the game.
Vikes' senior linebacker Brody St. John
pursues Falcon QB Reece Morgan (23) on
Torrey's third play from scrimmage,
walloping him after a one-yard gain.
