LJ assistant Alex Kosinski, in his stance,
during his playing days at the University of
Arizona as a 320-pounder.

Alex Kosinski, new assistant coach for the offensive line, as well as the defensive line, was quite a package during his playing days at the University of Arizona.
He was a member of the varsity for the Wildcats all four years, and he weighed a ton--not literally, but seemingly so--at 320 pounds.
To transition from that body shape and that body mass, he said at Viking football practice Fri., Aug. 9, that he lost 80 pounds in six months. His secret: "nutrition".
Now, a svelte 230 pounds, you wouldn't even recognize the dapper dude with the baseball cap and pontytail out on the workout grid.
"I like coaching the big guys," he said, having been one himself. Kosinski stands 6'5" "on a good day".
Kosinski now, at a slimmed-down
230 pounds on a 6'5" frame.
