La Jolla's girls volleyball team swept visiting Santa Fe Christian in three games, 3-0, to win their Division 1 first round match at home Wed., Oct. 25.
The Vikings, seeded eighth of 16 teams, won 25-21, 25-15, 25-17 in the Big Gym. With their victory, they gained the right to travel to number-one seed El Capitan Saturday night, Oct. 28, at 5 p.m. in the second round of the four-round playoffs.
