La Jolla's girls volleyball team fell at El Capitan, 3-0, in the CIF Division 1 quarterfinals Sat., Oct. 28, to end their season.
Coach Kelly Drobeck's squad went into CIF as the eighth seed. El Capitan is the top seed.
The Vikings completed the competitive Western League season 4-4 for second place, 13-15 overall.
Senior outside hitter Bradleigh Ryan led the team with 150 kills. Anais Reneuam Lavoie had 77, Talia Zadeyan 68.
Reneuam also had 27 blocks to lead the team, Zadeyan with 21.
Lana Ferrell recorded 101 digs, Ryan 86, Mia Jessen 78. Twelve team members were in double figures in digs, according to statistics on MaxPreps.
Setter Riley Lincoln, a junior, led with 190 assists. Lindsay Laumann had 166. They were far and away the stat leaders in that department for the squad.
In serves received, Ferrell piled up 207, Ryan 178, Paisley Mahn 141, and Jessen 132.
