La Jolla, facing the Torrey Pines "B" team, forged a huge 26-5 lead late in the second half before settling for a convincing 26-12 final result Sat., Jan. 21, at the North County school.
Marc Oriol continued to shine, scoring conversions on multiple two-point kicks, as the Vikings showed themselves to be prolific in scoring for a second straight week.
Coaches Ethan Willis' and Ian Denham's squad won their season opener at home against Mission Vista Jan. 13, 35-7.
