Head Coach Kellen Delaney, in his fifth year at the helm of the Vikings wrestling program, released a roster of the 2019-2020 wrestlers, both varsity and junior varsity.
Among the returners is senior Joshua Jasso, who was Eastern League champion at 197 pounds last year. Jasso, a 5'10" lineman, plays for the La Jolla High football team at 205 pounds. As a result, he is presently busy with preparation with the rest of the football squad for their Division 3 semifinal match at home against Brawley Fri., Nov. 22.
Other returners include junior Keegan Leonard, who placed sixth at 134 pounds last year in the Division 4 finals, as well as sophomore Buzzy Bomberger, a third-place finisher at 115 pounds in the finals.
