La Jolla made the long trip to Tustin Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 7, and took a 3-1 loss at Foothill High, 25-13, 25-16, 24-26, 25-22, in the Southern California Regionals.
Coach Kelly Drobeck's team, in her second year at La Jolla High, finished the season with an outstanding 29-6 record. The Vikings went 8-0 in the Eastern League, qualifying for the Open Division playoffs. The team is ranked seventh in San Diego.
