CIF playoffs started Thurs., Feb. 10, with the Vikings girls water polo team losing a tough 6-5 game to Carlsbad.

LJ girls water polo - Tues., Feb. 15, home match vs. Valhalla, 3:30 p.m. State play-in semifinals.

LJ girls basketball - Tues., Feb. 15, home game vs. El Cajon Valley, 7 p.m. As league co-champs, the Vikings earn a home game. La Jolla is the number-10 seed; the Braves are seeded 7th. Division 4.

LJ girls soccer - Wed., Feb. 16, home game vs. Monte Vista, 5 p.m. 7th-seed hosting 10th-seed. Division 3.

LJ boys soccer - Fri., Feb. 18, home game at 5 p.m. The Vikings get a bye Tues., Feb. 15 in the first round. They play the winner of Tuesday's Mira Mesa-San Diego Jewish Academy game. Division 4.

LJ wrestling - The Vikings had their CIF meet Sat., Feb. 12. Top-four finisher Ronald Way (154 pounds) goes on to the Masters meet Sat., Feb. 19.
