La Jolla's Ronald Way, 154 pounds, finished fourth at the CIF Division 4 meet at Valley Center High Sat., Feb. 12.
Way decisioned Landon Eberly of High Tech Chula Vista, 13-11, in his first match.
After losing to Joel Villa-Campos of Imperial 11-5, Ronald then won his first match in the consolation round over Antonio Palma of Army/Navy, 4-2.
He then won a thriller in overtime, 5-4, over Maddox Toten of Holtville.
He won his consolation semifinal match, 7-1, against Donovan Feliz of Mountain Empire.
Then Way was pinned by Michael Irizarry of Madison in the third place match at 154 pounds. The time was 31 seconds.
