Earl Watson, who was instrumental in the Top Gun Academy which La Jolla's Reed Farley played in starting in the sixth grade, was named interim coach of the Phoenix Suns Mon., Feb. 1, after head coach Jeff Hornacek was fired.
Top Gun has discontinued fielding multiple levels of teams, and now holds trainings and similar events, according to Dan Farley, Reed's father.
