Trevor Scully was 17 for 38 passing for 203 yards and one touchdown in a 21-13 loss to Central in week three, with two interceptions.
In a multi-pronged rushing attack, five Vikings accumulated 15 or more yards on the ground: Greg Nelson II, the 5'7" sophomore, 7 carries for 33 yards; Scully, on quarterback keepers, 14 attempts for 26 yards; Buster Hoy, 7 carries for 17 yards; Zach Garcia, 5 carries for 15 yards; and Noel Marquez, 2 carries for 15 yards.
In receiving, Johnathan O'Neal led La Jolla with 8 receptions for 89 yards and a touchdown. Hoy had three catches for 43 yards. Michael Wells added three receptions for 32 yards.
