It was the last football game of the season. The Helix field was mostly dark, with an electrician working on the lights. The temperature was freezing cold for this time of year.

The first cheerleaders to arrive were Tysen Boring, Jacey Taylor, and Lola Clayton, so they got the pick.

Age: 15

Year: Sophomore

What is your opinion on social media?

Personally, I like social media. It helps me keep up with my friends.

I may be showing my age (because it was a big issue during the Vietnam era), but what do you think of 18-year-olds voting?

They're mature, and they deserve to vote.

What is your opinion of A.I.?

I like it. I know it's good and bad. Good--it gives you ideas you didn't have before (in writing) and emails; bad--young people don't learn anything (if it does assignments for them).

What is your view about members of Congress saying they want to put restrictions on TikTok?

I didn't think they should. I like it.

Fun fact: I'm on the water polo team. I find out tonight (Nov. 15) if I make varsity.

Genre of music: Country. I got it from my dad. He started listening to it.

Cheering in this weather (it dropped to 53 degrees in the second half): It builds character (smiling).
