Hopes are high for the new LJHS Varsity Cheer squad. They are probably at a summer cheer camp this week. We wish them all good luck.
As my granddaughter Alexis, who was a Viking cheerleader from 2004-08, and her teammates used to say, "If you can, cheer. If you can't, play football."
